News Update

A couple of things to talk about today.

For starters, we've added a new section to our website titled New-Arrivals, which we will be using to post photos of our newest offerings. Head over there right now to see some wonderful dresses from Margaret Mousley that you can't find anywhere else but Lizze. Let us know what you think on our Facebook page.

Best of all...

We rejoice in the news that our artist-in-residence, Eileen Kamp is expecting a baby girl.  Wyatt, her two year old, has stayed out of the hospital all winter and is proving to be quite a rugged playmate.  When his four year old brother, Eric, was asked if he would be a good, big brother for his new baby sister, he said "Yes, I'll protect her from Wyatt."
 
Eileen's incomparable work will hang in our studio until February 28th.  All of it is for sale to a good home.  Each work is testimony to her amazing gifts.

Help Us Support the People of Haiti

As you probably already know, the people of Haiti have been devastated by the recent 7.0-magnitude earthquake that has taken many lives and destroyed many of the homes and businesses of this nation. Our hearts go out to all those affected by this disaster. 

So what are we doing to help? We're currently working with local businesses and our close friends to develop a program to deliver additional aid to Haiti. We realize time is of the essence so we've placed a link below for the American Red Cross where you can make donations online to help give immediate aid to those in need.

We'll keep you updated on our efforts as we progress. The link for donating is below. Every bit helps and it only takes a moment to donate!

Lizze Takes A Holiday

All next week Lizze will be closed and will remain closed until Tuesday the 19th of January. We're taking advantage of the warmer weather in the South for some much needed rest and relaxation. But it won't all be Mai Tai's and sandy beaches. We'll be attending the markets and keeping our eyes peeled for up-and-coming trends and fashions.

We promise we'll pick you up something special! See you on the 19th!

Fundraiser for Eileen Kamp and Her Son Wyatt this Saturday

Wyatt Kamp, a vibrant, rambunctious 19-month-old child living near me (Gail, store owner) has experienced a long journey overcoming cancer. His mother, Eileen, continues to paint, uses her talent to summon the courage for his many hospitalizations. We'd like to help them through this challenging time.

 

Eileen's art will leave you speechless, moved, and struck by how much she has mastered the use of light in her painting, reminiscent of the Master Rembrandt. We are privileged to lend a helping hand to Eileen, her husband Tony, Wyatt's four-year-old brother Eric, and little baby Kamp to come.

 

Join us for a very special Christmas gallery review of the works of Eileen Kamp. Refreshments will be served along with live music by the likes of Diane Jarvi, Valery Saakian on accordion, and Amy Tobin on her violin.

 

We'll be starting at 2pm and going until 6pm on Saturday the 19th.

Margaret Mousley's Creativity Explodes

Margaret Mousley has been our premier designer for now into her fourth year with us. We have encouraged her to take her creativity to the next level. The result? This skirt, made from Slumberland upholstery fabric swatches and put together with the same grommets and hardware used to secure the swatches to their sample books. The camisole to go with it was designed with the finest medieval tapestry brocade. Way to go Margaret! You're the greatest!

A Tribute to Margaret Mousley's Design Talent 


This Sunday from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

With accompaniment of live music and refreshments.


Come enjoy a late afternoon with us at Lizze. Enjoy a showcasing of Margaret Mousley's splendid clothing designs while taking in the rich live music.

Live music will be performed by Valery, an Armenian accordionist, on loan from Moscow on the hill.
